The Dik-Dik
Nilobi crouches down to say hello to a tiny dik-dik antelope.
Did you know?
The dik-dik is one of the smallest antelopes, only 30 to 40 cm tall. Its name comes from the "dik-dik" sound it makes.
Ask your child
Can you think of another animal named after the sound it makes?
Try it together
Measure 30 cm with a ruler. Find a toy or object at home that is about as tall as a dik-dik.
